Suffolk County Department of Health cites Sloth Encounters for operating without a permit

Following inquiries made by Humane Long Island, the Suffolk County Department of Health Services cited Sloth Encounters - which subjects sensitive sloths, including vulnerable babies, to grabbing hands, noisy crowds, and ramshackle cages during daylight hours when these animals would naturally be asleep - for operating without a permit.
